Wow, where to start? Lots of items to cover for this episode! First off, the duo converse about the final song from their album, “Pulse of the Earth“, which is titled “Hill“. Dreams are wonderful things, especially when they give back! Read Warren’s original process for creating the music.

The second item on the list was the interview HL did for the radio program “Echoes” with John Diliberto. They’ve included the entire broadcast for your enjoyment. How lovely! And yes, they have direct permission from Mr. Diliberto himself.

In OPM news, CB shares a very special musical project that she had the absolute pleasure to work on. The duo consisting of Frank Spinath (of Seabound) and Mario Schumacher, a.k.a. the band “Edge of Dawn“, have released their album “Anything That Gets You Through The Night” in Europe, and will release it in the US in June. The track Christa contributed on is “Lucid Dreams”. Another OPM, meaning media, is the film “Whole New Thing“. Definitely a must see for all Independent film lovers.

In closing, CB&W announce the renaming of the podcast and a reformatting as well. With Hungry Lucy being more on the back-burner these days, the duo decide to keep on rambling about new things going on. This is not a “disbanding announcement”, NO! Just a casual mention that HL is in a lull and needs some rest :) Christa and Warren hope you will continue to listen, as they have much more to say. Maybe some new jingles as well. OH, what fun!!

Stay tuned to see what new things Christa Belle and Warren will have to chat about. New books, films, technology, food, gardening…anything goes!!

Until next time, look to the future. It’s full of Cornhole!

In another stimulating episode of Tea with Hungry Lucy, Christa and Warren bring back a podcast face, OPM (other people’s music). This time around, Warren shares Trent Reznor’s latest project, “How to Destroy Angels” as well as a preview of Null’s Devices latest treat, “Suspending Belief“. Christa shares Goldfrapp‘s latest “Head First” while CB & W both get overly excited about Alison Goldfrapp’s legs…. mmmm. This week’s HL song under the microscope is “Sunday Smiled” (from Pulse of the Earth), a sweet and sappy duet. Christa delights us with some of her recent culinary creations while Warren gets hungry for dinner.

Next time… a wrap up of the final song on the album. Where will the podcast go from there?

It’s a rainy, boring day in HL land, but the duo push forth to manage some sort of resemblance to the podcast this week! The slow start ramps up to a hilarious swell of bum humor, chicken comments and other random silliness.

The solid (no, not THAT solid) facts of the week were that Hungry Lucy was interviewed by John Diliberto of Echoes, which will air on the Echoes show later in June. You’ll know when when the duo know when!

Also mentioned was the release of CB’s eBook, “Days with Indigo“, available directly at www.blackbreadbox.tv for only $10. What a bargain! CB also mentions her still-functioning blog over at www.christabelle.com if you fancy a longer read about what’s been going on in her world lately. As for Warren, he’s still on the Facebook, the Twitter and over at www.hungrylucy.com . They are certainly not far from your questions, comments or other concerns you may have. Drop in and say “Hi”, or just let them know if you’re still listening to the podcast,. As they say, “You don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone…”. Share the love. Let them know if you still want your tea!

Until next time, why fart and waste it when you can burp and taste it?

Welcome, welcome. All are welcome! It’s that time again. Time to share great music with friends and hear the stories behind the songs! This week brings you the ditty “Just Imagine” from the duo’s newest album “Pulse of the Earth“. Who knew that two Legends could bring forth such a cool, futuristic song. And a space car to match!

CB chats about the increase in sales of her novel “Days with Indigo” and how she’s started work on the next installment of deliciousness for the Black Bread Box site. No details yet. It’s still cooking.

Warren discusses his absolute glee about Hungry Lucy being featured on Echoes not once, not twice but for a third time now! The Australian radio program/podcast Ultima Thule will also be featuring the album as well. What more could a boy ask for? Not much!

With Vanilla Poundcake resting on the baking rack, and Spaghetti Bolognese (vegetarian) on the menu, there isn’t much more that could bring huge smiles to the duo’s faces. Everything is good. Thanks for listening!

Until next time, what flavor are your balls?

Well, now, what’s all this? There is much to be discussed this week! Not only is the new Hungry Lucy CD “Pulse of the Earth” now available in its fancy-schmancy wide-angle digipack, but it ships immediately from the HL HQ! This is a limited pressing of only 1000 copies, so make sure you get hold of your copy today!

This week’s preview track, played in its entirety, is the title track off of the album, appropriately named “Pulse of the Earth”. Just wait until you hear all the stories about this one. Oh, just you wait!

In other merchandise news, Christa Belle’s first novel “Days with Indigo” is now available in hardcover, for $35 + shipping, over at her new website Black Bread Box. You’ll find all the information on what’s to come and what’s already happening now. If it’s an eBook you fancy, don’t fret. There will be a digital version for your specific need shortly, and for only $10.

In exciting, “Oh my god I can’t believe he said my name!” news, Hungry Lucy has been played not once, but TWICE on Echoes in the last week! The amazing John Diliberto played “Just Imagine” and “Bumble” off of the new album. Not too shabby, ay? So, why not shoot for three times? Go on over to Echoes and tell them you heard Hungry Lucy and you’d love to hear more. Hungry Lucy would love you forever if you did.

So, until next week, buy the album and the book! Spread the word, spread the love.

This week’s wackiness is, once again, brought to you by vegetables! The song of the week is “Voyeur”, which the duo happily play in its entirety. We learn the two stories that merged to become one mass of creepy, beautiful, Mellotron-laden loveliness. Can’t we all just get along? Nope. Don’t think so.

In foodie news, CB touts her love of Nocciolata (the version of that other popular Chocolate-Hazelnut spread that hippies prefer) and the fact that she gets to spend 2+ hours in the kitchen later to make a monstrous Boca/Veggie Ragu with Rigatoni. Can you say Yum?

Warren speaks out on the “Non-Commercial” issues with download sites and HL’s new album. Lou Pole makes an annoying appearance, causing Warren to get a little irked, to say the least! If you want to truly download the new HL album for free, just go to Archive.org or Jamendo.com. I promise, they won’t mind.

Until next week, let’s all click our heels for the start of Spring!

This week brings a rather mellow mood to the duo as they discuss their fourth track, titled “Simone”, off of their recent album “Pulse of the Earth“. In other podcast news, Hungry Lucy are also featured on “The Smiths’ Occasional Podcast“! If “Tea with Hungry Lucy” just isn’t enough, go get another fix with the Smiths! You may even hear the REAL story behind Hungry Lucy.

CB chats about the bad, bad thing that happened to her last week, and the fact that recovery is still an ongoing process. Much thanks to her supportive friends and family for their encouraging words and advice.

Until next week, have some herbal tea!
